2001 They had 11 children. Fournier, Joseph (I07082)

2002 They have two children as of 1980. George Glover and Betty Craven made their home in Victoria,Texas, as of 1980. Glover, George (I05192)

2003 the_redintellect@yahoo.com  LaVoy Simpson, Sarah (I02987)

2004 This child's existence has been attested to by his niece, Elizabeth (Pearl) Tambo/Tambeau Smith Popowski. He is said to have died in England as a child before the family imigrated to America. She believed his name was Thomas, but was not sure. Elizabeth Pearl Tambo has been the authority on these older branches of the family and her impressions are believed to be accurate in absence of further proof. At the time of Thomas' death the family was living in Durham, England. He is not noted on the one census we have on this family at this date (2005). See family documents for this census. Fitzsimmons, Thomas (?) (I04760)

2005 At least one living or private individual is linked to this note - Details withheld. Bradshaw, Jennifer Lynn called (I04786)

2006 This couple had a son Francois born in 1769 and died 22 March 1770 on the Isle Dupas. Nothing further is known about this couple. This line is carried no further inTangay or LeBueuf's complement to Tanguay's Genealogical Dictionary.

Further research needs to be done to determine whether Louis LaVigne and his wife Louise LaForce are one and the same with Louis Tessier dit LaVigne and Louise Pepin dit LaForce who were married 27 September 1734 in Montreal, Canada. This latter couple's line is carried on to France in Tanguay, but the former couple's line stops at Louis LaVigne and Louise LaForce with no birth, marriage, or death dates and places of same. Both couples are contemporaneous with each other, the first half of the 18th Century. Further, they both have a daughter named Louise. The latter couple's daughter's full name was Louise Tessier dit Lavigne who was born 24 March 1737 in Montreal. Perhaps the former couple would show up at the marriages of her siblings recorded in Charbonneau et Leger: "Repetoire des marriages, baptemes, sepultures..", which marriages are recorded in Tanguay for some but not all of the children of Louis Tessier dit Lavigne and Louise Pepin dit LaFroce. The children of the latter couple, as known from Tanguay are as follows:

1. Louis Antoine Tessier, born in Montral 7 August 1735. No marriage or death dates and places in Tanguay.

2. Louise-Marguerite Tessier dit Lavigne, born 24 March 1737 in Montreal (the possible Louise LaVigne who married Louis Amyot). Nothing further is known of this daughter from Tanguay.

3. Marie Angelique Tessier, born 1August 1738 in Montreal. Nothing further in Tanguay.

4. Marguerite Tessier, born 1 March 1740 in Montreal. Nothing further in Tangauy.

5. Marie Catherine Tessier, born 14 January 1742, and married 25 July 1763 in Montreal to Alexis CADON. (This marraige should be checked in Charbonneau and Leger's Reperoire to see if Louise Lavigne anf Louis Amyot were guests and Louise a silbing of Marie Catherine.

6. Marguerite Tessier, born 1 October 1743 in Montreal. A second child in this family named Marguerite suggests that the first child by that name (4) died. Marguerite married 12 September 1763 in Montreal Joseph POIRIER. (As in Marie Catherine above, this marriage should be looked for in Charbonneau and Leger for the possible connection between Louis LaVigne and Louise LaForce as a sibling with spouse among the guests.)

The parents of the above children have further infomration recorded about them in Tanguay. Louis Tessier dit LaVigne was born 28 April 1710 in LaPriarie, near Montreal. He married 27 September 1734 in Montreal or nearby LaPrairie Louise Michelle Pepin dit LaForce, who was born 26 January in Chambly. Louis Tessier dit LaVigne died 20 February 1745 in LaPrairie. His wife, Louise Michelle Pepin dit LaForce, died 20 January 1748 in Montreal.

jeffskaterboy@sbcglobal.net, with whom I have had e-mail correspondence, is interested in this line. but has no definitive proofs that the two couples are one and the same, as of 2005.

Based upon the assumption that the two couples above are one and the same, the continued ancestry of this line has been researched and recorded in this family tree from Tanguay.

Gervais du Tremblay , blacksmnith; built a forge on lands adjoining the Trappist Monastery in Tourouvre, Perche, France. His descendants cotinued in this occupation in some lines for several generations. Gervais du Tremblay died about 1486/90. His wife's name is unknown.

Gervais du Tremblay had four known children: Jean, Andre, Etienne, and Jacques. We are descended from Jacques. Other lines are followed up in this article, but dleted here in the interest of relevance and brevity.

Louis/Loys Tremblay died in 1639. He resided at Normandel, France. He married NIcole (last name unknown). Louis Tremblay had two named children, but others are known to have existed; (1) Louis, bp 9 April 1600; (2) Philibert from whom we are descended; and others.

Philibert and his siblings were given over to their uncle Thomas Tremblay at the death of their parents, as their uncle's wards. It would seem that the children of Louis Tremblay were born late in his life, perhaps of a second marriage. It is not known if his wife Nicole was the only wife of Louis Tremblay.

2033 This individual is assumed to be named Patrick because of the pattern of naming his grandchildren in this family. Work in County Mayo on this indivudal and his wife Margaret has not been done as of 2005, although work for Peter Fitzsimmons was but with negative results. There are organizations for this work for County Mayo where he probably lived since the Joyce Family Name is from County Mayo.  Joyce, Patrick ? (I03716)

2040 This is assumed to be the father of William Tombos of Lnancaster County, PA due to the pattern of naming his grsndchildren in this family. He apparenlty lived in the Netherlands, and perhpas more specifically, the province of Holland as his son's Naturalization Papers state the son came to the US from Holland. No further owrk has been done on extending this line into Europe. The Family believed themselves to be "Black Dutch" which suggest non-blond hair color and darker skin than Dutch people in general and may be a clue to a residence close to France or Belgium. Tombos, William (?)
