  This man's possible relationship to the Le Neuf nobles of France and other particulars about his immeidate descendants and relatives may be found in Michigan's Habitant Heritage (Journal of the French -Canadian Heritage Society of Michigan), Vol. 23, #4, pp. 149-159 (October, 2002): "The LeNeuf Family: State of Knowledge". He is noted to be a bourgeois of the present day Thury-Harcourt. His ancestry is as of yet unknown (2003).
