This Family's history in France is also covered by Patrick Chevassu: "Les Tremblay: Histoire d'un Peuple". The following was taken from Michigan's Habitant Heritage, Vol. 6 #1, p. 8 ff. (January, 1985):
Louis/Loys Tremblay died in 1639. He resided at Normandel, France. He married NIcole (last name unknown). Louis Tremblay had two named children, but others are known to have existed; (1) Louis, bp 9 April 1600; (2) Philibert from whom we are descended; and others.
Philibert and his siblings were given over to their uncle Thomas Tremblay at the death of their parents, as their uncle's wards. It would seem that the children of Louis Tremblay were born late in his life, perhaps of a second marriage. It is not known if his wife Nicole was the only wife of Louis Tremblay.
