Dolores R. Denome, 82 years, of Gregory, Michigan died Thursday afternoon, May 30, 2013 at St. Joseph Mercy Hospital in Ypsilanti, Michigan. She was born July 10, 1930 in Dearborn, Michigan; the daughter of Robert and Cecilia (LaVoy) Reaume. Dolores married Robert E. Denome on June 21, 1953 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Dearborn, Michigan and he survives. Dolores is also survived by two daughters, Anne Denome of Harbor Springs, MI, Rita Denome of Jefferson City, MO; three sons, Mark of Sunnyvale, CA, Roger of Taunton, MA and Andrew of Yakima, WA; four grandchildren, Jessica Lako, Carson Lako, Cecilia Denome and Thomas Denome; one brother, Gilbert Reaume of Williamston, MI. Dolores was a registered nurse for her entire adult life. She was known through her parish and community as a tireless visiting nurse and caregiver for the elderly and others in the late stages of their lives. Until as recently as two weeks prior to her death, Dolores was driving herself to provide care for the sick and the homebound. She will be dearly missed and remembered as a friend to those with physical and spiritual needs. Funeral mass will be held 11 AM Monday, June 3, 2013 at St. Mary Catholic Church 10601 Dexter-Pinckney Rd. Pinckney, Michigan with Rev. Fr. Kenneth F. Coughlin as celebrant. Cremation will follow mass. Family will receive friends Monday, June 3 from 10 AM until the time of service.
