  • Notes
    • Little Snipe was a full blooded Potawatomi Indian who lived on the reservation west of Detroit's Fort Pontchartrain. Her liason with Charles Gouin occurred while he was married to his wife Susan Boyer. "White Feather" was the result of this union. At age 11 White Feather was baptized as Marie Gouin and subsequently married the founder of the LaVopy Family of Monroe County, MI, Francois LaVoy II.
