Notes |
- While the La Societe des Patriotes uses the spelling Robidas, Tanguay uses Robidas and it is this latter spelling which is used in this tree. consult their web pages for information on individual members of the Robidas Family.
Tanguay states in his Genealogical Dictionary, Vol. 6, p 604, while recording Jean Baptiste Robidas' burial date as 18 May 1757, that he actually drowned the preceding Autumn and was not found until Spring on Pointe-au-Sable.
See also Tanguay, Genealogical Dictionary, Vol. 1, p. 522 for the Robidas/Rabidas family origins.
