Jean Guyon's occupation was that of a mason.
See; Thomas J. LaForest, "Our French Candain Ancestors", vol. XXV, Chapter 14, pp.135-146, for a biography of Jean Guyon. La Forest has a differnt date for Jean's marriage to Mathurine Robin: 12 June 1615, Mortagne, France. Robert A. Yandow site above has January 2, 1615 in Mortagne as the date. this appears to be a "typo" on someone's part. We use the marriage date in the LaForest work because of the editing process of this work makes it less likely that its date is in error.
