- As of 1902, Julia Knaggs was unmarried and living with her mother, Angeline, and her brother Victor in the Knaggs Homestead on Stateline, across Dixie Rd. from the Moses LaVoy Home, according to Robert B. Knaggs in "The Knaggs Family of Ohio and Michigan", p. 27.
Her birth date and full name was obtained from the parish Baptismal Records of St. Joseph, Erie, MI. Her godparents were Dennis and Helen Knaggs.
- Lucille Julia Knaggs married a French-speaking Irishman named Joseph Ryan. They lived at River Canard, Ontario, and kept up the French language in the home. Her brother Rollie Knaggs liked visiting them to speak French for the day. Lucile Julia and Joseph Ryan had a fourth child whose name is unknown.
