- I-11 Daniel Webster Tombow is the 11th and final child of John Tombow and Sarah Smith of E. Greenville, Tuscarawas Township, Stark County, Ohio. He was born 5 October 1858 (E. Greenville Cemetery Records) in E. Greenville, Stark Co. Ohio.
Daniel is found in his mother's entry in the 1880 Federal Census for Tuscarawas Township, Stark County, Ohio, as follows:
Tombow, Sarah, age 67, widow, born in Pennsylvania Tombow, Daniel, age 19, son, housepainter, born in Ohio
Daniel Webster Tombow was the last heir of his grandfather, William Tombos, to sign a quit claim to the original homestead and a recounting of this can be found in the chapter on the Family Origins.
Daniel married (l) Mary B. Klingensmith, date unknown, and (2) Sophia Gengagle on 17 July 1894.
Daniel Webster Tombow died 30 March 1925 in DeKalb Co, IN, but is buried in E. Greenville (Ohio) Cemetery. (His brother, Adam Grant Tombow (See entry I-8 in this Chapter) also moved to DeKalb County, IN)
Two children of Daniel Webster Tombow and Mary B. Klingensmith are located in E. Greenville (Ohio) Cemetery, their graves marked with a single stone:
I-9-l John L. Tombow, born 23 January 1883 and died 14 February 1885, according to cemetery records.
I-9-2 Birty L. Tombow, no dates, same stone as for above infant.
