- I-2 Margaret Tombow, born in Lancaster County, Pennsylvania, in 1839. She married Daniel Cope on 8 April 1860, according to Stark County, Ohio, marriage registers. She also is mentioned in Stark County and Lancaster County records pertaining to the settling of William Tombos' estate. Margaret Tombow is also mentioned in a letter from her aunt and uncle Lydia Tombow and Benjamin Groff to her mother where she is characterized as an outspoken woman. (The text of this letter will be found in the Chapter on the descendants of Benjamin and Lydia Tombow Groff.) Margaret may be named after her maternal grandmother.
