- I-l Mary Ann Tombow, named after her paternal grandmother, Mary Ann Herzkey Tombow, was born about 1836 in Lancaster County, Pennsylvania. She married William Ruby 7 August 1856 in Stark County, according to IGI records available to Shirley Hern (See reference at beginning of this chapter). There is also a reference to a Jacob Rudy, who may be William Rudy's father. in the Chapman Brother's Portrait and Biographical History of Stark County, Ohio, pp. 196-7.
This couple is mentioned in Stark County, Ohio, and Lancaster County, Pennsylvania documents pertaining to the settling of the estate of William Tombos, Sr.
