Notes |
- Eddy was the illegitimate son of Stephen Mackerel/Mackrell and Elizabeth Fitzsimmons. Stephen was the brother of Jenny Mackerel who married Elizabeth's brother Patrick. The Mackerels and Fitzsimmons knew each other in England before coming to the United States. There was no marriage because Stephen was said to have refused to marry Elizabeth. Eddy was raised with his half brothers and sisters in the William Tambo Family. He came to River Rouge, MI, in 1922. He raised two daughters who were living in River Rouge in 1997. He worked in a factory sorting tools.
