- Information from Denissen of the French Families of the Detroit River Region, Vol 2, pg 1204, in the John Baptiste Trombley entry. According to his nephew, Charles jarvis, he never married. He died at the age of 27. He was also called "Pete" according to information given to me by Lianna Trombley, whose husband is descended from John's brother, Francis Xavier Trombley.
