She was agraduate of St. Joseph's high school in 193 and class president in that year. She was a parish membe of Our Lady of Mr. Carmel parish in Temperance, MI. Mt. Carmel Keen Agers, Bedford Senior Citizens, UAW retirees, Knights of Columbus Auxiliary, St. Joseph's Council, Honorary Member of the Voluntary Erie Fire Dept., Monroe County Hospice Support Group.
She was also an LPN who woked for St. Charles Hospital as a psychitric nurse for 14 years retiring in 1974.
For a while she lived in Port Charlotte, Fl.
At her death she had a pet dog named Mindi.
This writer (Patrick LaVoy Tombeau) remembers her well as a lively vivacious cousin who got him out of a tight squeeze when we had a 1998 LaVoy Family Reunion in St. Joseph's Church Hall in Erie, MI and not enough money was collected to pay for the hall. She made a public announcement to that effect and then went around the room until she had gathered up enough money to pay for the hall.
