- David is seen in the 1850 Census in Novmber as 2/12 old, making his birthday September, 1850. He is seen in the 1860 Census as 10 years old, but is not seen in the 1870 Census, but David II, age 4, is seen. This latter David has a birth confirmed by St. Joseph's baptismal records in Erie, MI.
A Daniel LaVoy, son of Paul and Elizabeth LaVoy is found in Gendis, the Michigan Death Index. He died in Erie, age 19 years, of heart disease, on 25 May 1869. I believe Daniel is a mistake for David and have recorded this as David's death date.
