  • Notes
    • As James Dusseau was cut off with only a dollar in his father Joseph Dusseau's Will, he contested the Will and the objection was removed on April 6, 1915. He had been encouraged by his sister Clara to bring suit against his father's
Will. (J 176, pg 257; Vol. 138, pg 265 (Execution Docket). Clara convinced Joseph's heirs to give him $75 and the objection was dropped April 6, 1915.

At the time of his father's death, James was living in Houston. TX. He later moved to New Orleans, according to his niece, Norma Dusseau Gray. It is presumed he died there. His ister, Lena Dusseau Bordo Shaffer of Los Angeles, CA, in August of 1959, also states that her brother proably died in New Orleans after 1914.

He was married to Daisy A. Hoover who started divorce proceedings against him in 1909. (Common Pleas: Cause 60801; August 12, 1909; petition file for Divorce; Septemvber 25, 1909, six weeks in the Toledo Bee; February 16, 1914. Vol. 119, pg, 476) Toledo property of James Dusseau seized.
